At The Country Side, nestled within the Vivéa Business Park in Moka Smart City, we set out to create a building that harmoniously integrates with its natural surroundings. Our aim was to design a space that not only meets the functional needs of modern businesses but also provides a seamless connection to the serene landscape that envelops it.

To capture the essence of the surrounding environment, we incorporated large openings throughout the building. These expansive windows and glass façades allow for panoramic views of the landscape, flooding the interior spaces with natural light and creating an open, airy atmosphere. It’s our belief that such visual connectivity to nature enhances the well-being and productivity of those who work within.

Understanding the tropical climate, we thoughtfully integrated timber louvres into the design. These louvres serve a dual purpose: they add a warm, natural texture to the building’s exterior and effectively control solar radiation. By filtering sunlight, they reduce heat gain and glare inside the building, contributing to energy efficiency and occupant comfort.

The building’s contemporary style is accentuated by a palette of cool whites and earth tones, which we chose to reflect the natural hues of the surrounding landscape. The minimalist forms and clean lines create a modern aesthetic that doesn’t overshadow the beauty of the environment but rather complements it.

In designing The Country Side, our vision was to craft a workspace that offers more than just functionality. We wanted to provide an inspiring environment where the boundaries between the indoors and outdoors blur, allowing occupants to feel connected to nature even during their busiest days.
