The project
Story Seychelles
Mahe, Seychelles
The Story Hotel in Seychelles, developed from conceptualisation to design completion in partnership with Tirant Associates, represents a pinnacle of architectural and environmental integration. Located within the idyllic settings of Seychelles, this project was meticulously planned to harness the distinctive qualities of its tropical surroundings while reflecting the rich cultural ethos of the region.
Spanning stages one to three, the architectural vision for Story Hotel was grounded in the principles of placemaking and sustainability. The design leverages the natural topography and views, ensuring each suite and villa optimally interacts with the landscape. The architectural language adopted here merges local building traditions with contemporary design elements, creating a dialogue between new and existing environmental contexts.
The resort’s layout was conceived to enhance the visitor experience, prioritising natural light, ventilation, and views of the expansive ocean. The use of indigenous materials and the integration of green technologies exemplify the project’s commitment to sustainability. These elements are carefully woven into the design to minimise environmental impact while maximising aesthetic and functional attributes.
Story Hotel offers a comprehensive suite of amenities, including luxurious accommodations, a full-service spa, gourmet dining options, and exclusive beach access, each designed with the highest standards of comfort and elegance. The architecture not only facilitates a unique resort experience but also sets new benchmarks for luxury hospitality design in tropical settings.
